Hi Nancy,
I have wondered about this bunch too. If you do a search on this forum for “Henry” it will pull up my posting from Aug. 13, 2009 (posted by Julia) in which I mention Henry Nixon/Nichols from Middlesex County and his possible connection to the Henry Nixon/Nichols from Orange County 1730-60’s – he had a son John Nichols who sold Henry’s Orange Co land in the 1760’s – and in the 1760’s people neighboring this land were involved with our Nicholson on later records. And if you read that posting from Aug. 13 – I mention a record that shows this Nichols may have been a Nicholson.
Also, in connection to these people, our Nicholson line in Kentucky is involved with a Moseley family in KY in the late 1700’s.
I think I have some other connections, but would have to dig them out.
Yes, I think we should keep looking into these guys, thanks, -Julia
