Rivercomb and others, and bound as follows, to Wit, Beginning at a chestnut oak on the south side of Hughes river corner to Edmund Nicholson thence with his line S 35 1/4 W 82 poles to maple and Ironwood in a branch, thence with a line of the Big Survey up the Pinnacle Mountain S 51 W 13.5 poles the S 49 W 24 poles to a large poplar on the north side of said branch thence S 51 3/4 W 20 poles to a dead chestnut, thence S 64 W 13 poles to a chestnut Oak, thence S 56 W 30 poles to an ash and yew tree, thence S 51 1/2 W 39 poles to three chestnuts growing from one stump, thence S 80 W 13 poles to a spanish oak in John Nicholson's line, thence with his line N66 34 W 9 poles to an ash, maple and mahogany corner to said Nicholson and others, thence S 84 W 27 poles to two mahoganies, thence S 69 1/2 W 80 poles to two small chestnuts near the top of an arm of said mountain thence with or near said top N 22 1/4 W 132 poles to three chestnuts and a spanish oak near the main top of said mountain, thence along the said top N 9 1/2 E 31 poles to two chestnuts, thence along the same N 6, W 13 poles to a spanish oak, thence along the same N 7 1/2 E 7 poles to a chestnut oak by a large cliff of rocks, thence down an arm of said mountain N 37 1/4 W 9.5 poles to two chestnuts, thence N 50 1/2 W 6 poles, to a chestnut and a chestnut oak, thence N 20 1/4/ E 6 poles to a spanish oak on the North side of said mountain, thence down the same N 9 1/4 W 6 poles to a spanish oak, then N 3 1/2 W 14 poles to two single and one double spanish oaks, thence N 49 E 48 poles to three chestnuts corner to a track formerly owned by Jesse Nicholson....etc.
