Prince Georges County, Md 1763-1767, book TT, Pages 27, 28, 29 At the request of Thomas Gault, Jr. the following deed was recorded 1st of June 1763. This Indenture made this 26th day of April in the year of our Lord 1763 Between JOHN MACLANE (MACKLANE) NICHOLS of Frederick County of the one part and Thomas Gault, Jr. of Prince Georges County of the other part Witnessed that the said JOHN MACLANE NICHOLS for and in consideration of 50 pounds sterling to him on hand paid by the said Thomas Gault, Jr. the receipt where of I the said JOHN MACLAIN NICHOLS do hereby acknowledge and himself therewith fully satisified I do by these presents acquit discharge the said Thomas Gault, Jr. and his heirs and assigns hath given granted aliend bargain, sold, confirmed by these presents do ..........................................track or parcel being of 100 acres of land sold by Capt. Charles Beall to JOHN MACLANE that being part of land called Cransfords Adventure lying on the Beaver Dam Run that makes into the Eastern Branch of Potomac River.
