G'Day Nicholls Listers: Perhaps I'm grasping at straw's...but there may be someone out there that can help me... so it's worth a try. My late mother told the family story that when she was a child her Grandfather John Alexander Nicholls a Cigar Bundler and Tobacconist of Walthamstow was knocked down and killed by a bus, during one of her visits. I have discovered a John A Nicholls aged 62 who may fit the bill as a candidate, who died at Camberwell in the October/December quarter of 1919 - (See below) ONS Deaths Index: Oct_Dec 1919 - NICHOLLS John A - Died: aged 62 @ Camberwell - 1919-Dec-1d/829 I wonder if any kind soul could perhaps verify or confirm the above death as that of John Alexander Nicholls B: 1859 or maybe add further details that may lead to me identifying the death. I look forward to hearing from anyone who may be able to help me out on this one. Kind Regards: Trevor Lawton in Perth, OZ. Notify Administrator about this message?
