Hi Linda, this is not my family, just did some looking for you. You might already have this information. I've been looking very hard for you Margaret Collins, nothing can be found that would match her age, and her parents both born in TN. Did Sim and Margaret die young? I could only find them on the 1880 census.
I have tried to find the people that Laura is with on the 1900 census, but have not been able to. I don't think the last name is right, I have looked for every John W with a wife Mary (even without a last name) and have not been able to find anyone that looked like would be them. Since Laura is shown as a niece, is she the niece of the husband or wife?
I thought my ancestors moved a lot, but nothing compared to these people. Sorry that I could not find more. Do you have other names, you mentioned Laura had a brother John, were there any other siblings that you are aware of?
