Jacob Nussli

I am puzzled and was wondering if someone out there can help me out.

According to the book on Genealogy.com, "Colonial and Revolutionary Families of Pennsylvania" by John W. Jordan, page 425, it refers to Jacob Nissley as the original settler in America in Mt, Joy Township. It further states he had two sons and three daughters. Son John married a Sechrist and son Martin married a Snyder.

After performing searchs on RootsWeb.com I find numerous examples of Hans Jacob Nussli married to Mary Sechrist with Hans Jacob Nussli's father listed as Ulrich.

Additional searches turn up John Nussli married to Mary Sechrist with John's parents listed as Jacob Nisley/Nussli and Mary Funk. Jacob's father is listed as Hans Nussli Sr.

Can someone shed some light on this for me?
