I have a Jonas Nicely in my line, born 1809 Grainger Co. Tn. I think his father may have been Jonas or Jonathan. He married Catherine Chandler there in 1836, but according to 1840 and 1850 census he would have been married prior to that. He would have had Thomas, Martha and maybe more by the first marriage and Anderson, Nelson, Mary and John by Catherine Chandler where my line comes in.
