Hi Patricia,
I have just found your message here whilst browsing genforum.
GLENTON, Jonas Wilson, Sr. Esq.
1763 - 1844 is my 4th Great Grandfather via my HINDLEY/GLENTON family.. How are you connected to him and would you be willing to swap information with me of which I have a great deal now. I have as much as it is possible to get about the GLENTON's I think, but, if there is more " out there " then that would be fantastic!
My direct line is:
1) GLENTON, Jonas Wilson, Sr. Esq. 1763 - 1844.
2) GLENTON, Henry 1796 - 1857.
3) GLENTON, Harriet 1828 - 1880.
4) HINDLEY, James Wilson Kelsall 1868 - 1949
5) HINDLEY, Mary Ann 1901 - 1992 ( My Nana, Born 46, Gilead St, West Derby, L'Pool. Moved to IOM where she married my Granddad John Norman Kneale ARMSTRONG )
6) ARMSTRONG, Brenda Marjorie b.1932 ( My Mum, married Ernest Charles Robert SHIRLEY b. Torpoint, Cornwall in 1932 but moved to IOM as young child of 11yrs old, after Blitz over Plymouth. Their home was bombed and Dad's Mum died in 1943)
7)SHIRLEY Carol Ann b. 1955 IOM, married now LLOYD.
I hope this is of interest to you?
Kind Regards,
Carol
