I think there were two Edmunds. One was born 1812 possibly the son of Abel and the other born about 1793, parentage unknown. The latter married an Anna around 1816 and produced four children James E, Tillman, Martha and Nancy in Georgia.

I had not been able to trace the first Edmund's movements so your information on his marriage is useful.

I am also interested in Abel's other son who married Mary Caneda in Troup, Georgia in 1855 and then disappeared, possibly to Barbados. Have you any clues?.
