Dear Joan,

In all of my research, I have found a couple of variations of Hamilton's name and his wife Josephine's last name. I went with the one I saw most which was Halley. There were a lot of Halley's in the Gallia county area. Josephine Halley/Holley are the same. He and Josephine had two more children besides the ones that I listed. They were Margaret (Mag) Nibert, and Hugh Nibert.

You are on the right track. These people had some variation to the spelling of their names. Hope this helps some more. These people did end up in Missouri. Any other way that I can help, please let me know.

I am the Great Grandson of Charles Franklin Nibert, son of Thomas III and Clarissa/Clara Proctor.

Todd
