Seeking information or any assistance on Joab Newton [son of Uriah Newton Jr] and Joab's son Benjamin Newton.
Joab was born in Princeton, Mass 19 July 1772. He Married Polly Butterfield, daughter of Benjamin and Polly (Hackleton) Butterfield of Acworth New Hampshire. No marriage date known, but first child born in 1708 and last child in 1821. No death date known for Polly or Joab Newton.
Specifically seeing information regarding to son Benjamin who was born in Acworth, NH [no date known, but third child of Joab & Polly. Ben married Sally E. Jones and was listed in Acworth census [age 45, which would put his birth year around 1805] in 1850, but no longer in 1860 - wife and children no longer listed in 1860.
Need lineage proofs for DAR purposes. Would gladly reimburse anyone for research, copies, etc.
