Am trying to locate parents of Rosetta BARDEN, born in 1837 in Springfield, Sullivan, NH. Is she the Rosetta listed as the daughter of "Oka" and Emma BARDEN in the 1850 census of Sprngfield, Sullivan, NH. Also listed were children Alonzo, Melissa Ann, Betsey Ann and Clotilda.
Am trying to learn more about this family - also have seen name as Oaka Barden and wife Amy - is this the same as Oka and Emma?
Rosetta married in 1853 to Edward DEWEY and they divorced. She was married, according to one source - 5 times. Died in 1924 in Boston, MA
Any clues, information or search possibilities are most welsome.
