Hi Ed,

My name is Steve Brown and I'm interesting the same families that you are.

I'm descended from a Nathaniel Brown that was born in Barrington NH in 1827. After much research I'm final convinced Nathaniel's parents were John Brown and Sarah Hanson--John Brown was a farmer born in Barrington about 1786 and he died their in 1865. I'm now starting to work on John Brown's parents, and Nicholas Brown, who was in Barrington in 1810, is my top candidate.

There aren't many vital records available from this period. I'm planning to look at probate records and real estate transactions from this period to see if that can help me figure it out.

Have you found anything out about Nicholas Brown's history?
