Portsmouth Herald (Portsmouth, New Hampshire) 1941 June 12 KICKED BY A HORSE: ON DANGER LIST Kicked in the head by a horse yesterday afternoon, Alfred Canney, of RFD route 2 Dover, was still unconscious at an Exeter hospital this morning and his name is on the danger list. He was taken to the hospital last night at 6:30. ******************************************************** Portsmouth Herald (Portsmouth, New Hampshire) 1941 June 27 Alfred M. Canney, 29, died Tuesday noon at Boston City Hospital as a result of an automobile accident two weeks ago at the home of Mrs. M. Belle Garrity, Lee. Mr. Canney was born in Manchester, son of Herman C. and Cora James Canney, and had resided in Lee for 25 years. He graduated from Madbury schools and worked as a farmer and a lumberman.
