SOMERSWORTH, STRAFFORD CO - NEED HELP
Posted by: Penny Date: February 18, 2000 at 19:07:33
  of 384

Nancy BURLEIGH/BURLEY (nee BLAKE), d. 1852 - living Somersworth in 1850 (census). She m. James BURLEIGH, who d. 1846, buried in Ossipee.

Louise/Lovey EASTMAN (nee BURLEIGH/BURLEY), d. 11 Aug 1842 - Somersworth. She m. William EASTMAN in Tamworth NH 28 Jul 1827, he of Tamworth, she of Ossipee.

Were Nancy BURLEIGH, Lovey EASTMAN and William EASTMAN buried in Somersworth? I have found no death records for these three at vital stats in Concord, and have been told that records for Somersworth do not exist. My last hope is cemetery records - have not been able to connect William EASTMAN with any family except a son George Albion, b. 14 Feb 1829, and d. 6 Mar 1910 in Berwick, ME. Searches in Tamworth, Ossipee, Berwick, and York Co. ME were negative. Any help would be very much appreciated.
