In a publication called "The History of the Town of Bristol, NH, Vol. II" by Richard W. Musgrove, the parents to my GGgrandmother, Rebecca J. NUTTER are named: Stephen NUTTER and Betsey JENNESS. No dates or locations of birth or marriage were named. In fact, I haven't been able to find them anywhere else.
I did find a Stephen NUTTER, b. Rochester NH in 1775, the son of Richard NUTTER & Temperance NUTTER (maiden surname). This Stephen NUTTER married an Abigail WENTWORTH in 7 April 1796 and had 15 children. I also found where he had also married a Betsey COOK before 7 Nov 1829. But could he also be the spouse of Betsey JENNESS? IS he the same Stephen NUTTER that I am looking for?
