Hello;
Hoping to contact someone who has a practical knowledge of the water ways around Farmington. I know the three rivers: Ella, Cocheco and Mad, but am looking for the official names of the other brooks that run thru the town. Such as the one that comes down from Charles st, goes under Glenn st (near corner of Mt Pleasent). goes under Bunker st, along Cresent, under Winter and flows into Dame brook before Elm st. Also Have you ever heard of "red river"? was it one of the other rivers old names? have a picture off the web that says red river and dam, farmington nh. (abt 1900-1910). there are theres I am interested in finding out there names, can you help. I Moved away years ago, and no on-line maps give names. thank you
