Dear Bonnie,
I wonder if it's the house on Grant Street, that was once owned by George Wallace? If it was, it was once called the St. Charles Children's Home.
At the time of printing ?? it was across from the Rochester Common, and was facing possible closure because of the increasing lack of personal within the order of Grey Nuns of Quebec.
It will for now stay open staffed with members of the Sisters of Charity of Our Lady Mother of Mercy.
The children care center had been in continous operation for 55 years it said (at the time of print)
From the poor photo copy of a old newspaper clipping, This house looks gorgeous! I hope to see a clear picture of it someday.
Out of the 5 houses I asked about I figured that one had a chance to still be standing.

Thank-you for your qick reply to my query.

May God Bless you in your search
Ginny
