My 9G grandfather was John ROBERTS who married Abigail NUTTER. Their daughter, Abigail b.1658 Dover, Strafford Co., NH., marr.24 Oct 1698 Dover, Strafford Co., NH., to Thomas DOWNS Jr. b.17 Mar 1654 Boston, Suffolk Co., MA., d.1711 Kittery, York Co., ME.
Thomas's father, Thomas DOWNS Sr. b.2 Feb 1611/1612 England, d.21 Jan 1698/1699 Dover, Strafford Co., NH., came from England to Boston, MA., in 1650 on the ship, "Defiance".
I would like more info on John & family, if you have it.
