Robert & Sarah (Smith?) Wadleigh of Exeter, NH, m abt 1654

Hello:

I’m hoping that someone can help me with the maiden name and ancestry of the Sarah (b 1632) who married Robert Wadleigh (b 1628, England) before 17 Jun 1654 in Saco/Kittery, York, ME. Several websites list her maiden name as Smith, but I’ve not found a recognizable source for this.

They lived in Exeter, Rockingham, NH where he died aft 1701 and she died aft 1698.

I’m descended through their daughter Mary (b 1672, Exeter) who married John Cram (b 1665 Hampton Falls) abt Mar 1690 in Hampton, Rockingham, NH.
