He was married to a "Jane Page" who is reported as the daughter of Daniel Page and Jane True. Their stone was erected in 1905 by descendants and a new one was placed. He was a Revolutionary War Soldier. The stone marker reports that his Vital Stats were 1734-1819. Two other Moses Thompsons' were listed there as well : Moses, Jr. died April 6, 1856 (22y.) and a "Father" Moses died September 24, 1862 (67y.)
