Dear Lenore: Thank you so much for your offer to go to the Library and do some research for me. I live in Arizona and I wonder if I could ever get that far away to do it, though I would love to.
I wish you good luck. Also Lenore, since you live there, Is there a place called Gordon Hill in Exeter? My father said that the homestead was still there in 1940. So I wondered if it is a well known street.
