Nathaniel Martin b. circa 1758

I am researching an ancestor, Nathaniel Martin who filed for R'evy War pension in Giles Co. TN stating that he was born in Portsmouth NH, Rockingham Co. circa 1758. He also stated that he lived in Pembrook or Saucook. The pension was denied for lack of proof since another soldier by same name was receiving pension in NH. Would appreciate and clues or leads on Nathaniel.
