Many thanks for that.
I was hoping that Johanna/Ann would have been listed with her husband so that I could get his year and place of birth.
At this stage I do not know a lot about the family and am just gathering the pieces in the hope I can fit them together into a recognisable picture.
You could well be right about James being a "later in life" baby. It's possible he could also be the child of a deceased first wife being brought up by Johanna/Ann.
