well I found the social security info for Alexander so with this number you can send for the ss application that he filled out, not the extract, but the original ss application as it will have a lot of info on it.
you can get his death records also and birth records now that you have the dates.
following the ss record are 2 WW 11 draft cards they are both for him though they have different roll numbers don't know why but with his military records you can write to washington and get much on him from his military records.
I could not locate him on any census years.
