On June 16, 1930 a baby girl, named Evelyn Brown(later
changed to Goodman) was born to, Evelyn Brown (Goodman?)
born July 6, 1906, Montgomery, Alabama. On Oct. 8, 1930
the baby was abandoned at The Wilrik Hotel in Sanford,
NC by a woman giving her name as Estelle Calvert of
Charlotte, NC. Age, 25-40. She disappeared never to be
seen or heard of again. On Oct. 17, 1930, the baby
was taken home by a local businessman, Sam T. Ingram
and his wife, Sue in Sanford, NC. and named, Mary Sue
Ingram. Her mother Evelyn Brown (Goodman?) was residing
in Boston, MA at the time of the birth. Any
ideas at all appreciated.
