Kim,
The 1900 census of the town of Alton in the Belknap county of NH indicates Charles was married to Martha and that Martha was 47 years old born May 1853. Charles was born June 1853 in Canada and his parents were from Canada also.
They were married for 27 years at the time of the census done in June 1900.
It also lists Martha born in NH and her father was from NH and her mother was from Canada but does not give theirnames.
The census listed a few children:
Leona Parnell b. April 1884 in Canada
Sadie M. E. WHEELER b. Oct 1872 in Canada
Edith M. WHEELER b. April 1873 in NH
(Sadie and Edith are 7 months apart)
It did not mention a Marge but that could have been Sadie's middle name.
In 1910 town of Laconia in the Belknap county NH, Charles is listed as widowed and living with Leona and a lodger only.
In this census he listed himself as being born in Vermont as well as his mother and father.
Good luck with this one, hope this helps.
Glenn
