Old license plates of NH c. 1900 to 1920
Does anyone know what the first two numbers were back in NH on license plates c. 1900 to 1920, etc.?I have an old picture of an old barn with an old car inside that looks like it may be a Model T.I have had the tag number blown up and it reads 10 585.Does anyone know what the 10 stands for?Would it be the 10th county or some significance?Could be Hillsborough, Grafton, Strafford or Rockingham counties where my ancestors lived.I had written to the Division of Motor Vehicles in Concord and they stated that my request was denied since it is unauthorized by law-Privacy Act RSA 260:14.If I only had the county I could narrow down who the car and barn belonged to.
