Also in Hudson (Hillsboro) NH v.r.: "Jn" m. 29 June 1779 "Nepherbeth" COOK. [B#1295] He m. 3rd, 4 Nov 1783, widow Hannah BANCROFT. On p.52 Hillsboro Co., NH 1790: 1-2-5. Listed in DAR Patriot Index as a Lt. in NH Militia. Pratt Mountain/Pratt Pond at New Ipswich, NH, named for this family. He d. there 4 Feb 1816. Chn in Reading, Ma. VR. [B#80; VR]

John," 17 Nov 1746, Hannah (WIGHT), widow of John ELLIS [B#417]. He prob. bought land as "John of Reading, Ma.," in Killingly, Ct. 1721. [See bro Samuel b.1695/6 for notes.] In 1730 "John of Reading" sold land at Killingly to Nell ERICKSON. John d. 22 May 1753, Medfield, Ma. VR. Widow d. there 13 Sept 1760. Son John Jr. "of New Ipswich (Hillsboro) NH" and Joel WRIGHT of Dublin (Chesh.) NH sold to Lemuel SAUNDERS of Sturbridge, Ma., land in Plainfield, Ct., wh. was est. of Elizabeth JONES, late of Western, Ct., dec'd, relict of Rev. Isaac JONES ... a part of which "we claim as heirs of said Elizabeth;" recorded 7 June 1790 at Plainfield. Simeon (s/o Jesse below) and Mary PRATT of Medfield (Suff.) Ma. also heir to Elizabeth JONES, sold land 7 Jan 1791 to Lemuel SAUNDERS. [Dtr Elizabeth m. Nathan WEBB and Isaac JONES.]

B#882: William TURNER of Dorch. 1640s rem. to Boston. He m. 1st Frances ___, mo of his chn. M. 2nd Mary, wid. of John PRATT.
