Do you have any info. concerning this Eugenia Richards, and her 3 children?
I have a William H. Amazeen, born ca. 1824 in Newcastle,NH, who married on 28 Oct. 1847 to a Urana Jane Richards, born 1825 in Lewiston (or Livermore),Maine. Her name is also seen as Maria,Emania J.,Urana A.,or Mary A ! She died in Durham,NH in 1887, the family moving there from Portsmouth prior to 1870.I've been unable to prove William's parents, but they could be William and Susan (Meloon) of Newcastle.I also have 8 children listed for William H and Urana, as follows:
Clara Jane, Newcastle
Sarah S., Newcastle
George H., 15 Mar 1853 Portsmouth (or Newcastle)
Abel S., b.1854 Ports.
John W, b.? d.1863 Ports.
Mary A., Ports.
Charles W.,
Grace V., (poss. 1 Mar 1868)
One note:in 1850, William H. was listed in the Newcastle census (with his two daughters) living with Joseph White, without Urana.
