Look for US Census on the left side of screen       ;

Michigan Genealogical Death Indexing System (FREE and searchable)
1837 Michigan was admitted to the Union.

Michigan did not require by law birth, marriage & death registrations until 1867.

Birth records are not public records unless the birth is over 100 years old.

Parents' names were not recorded on marriage records in Michigan until 1885 or 1886.
