Iím not related to any member of this family.

1930 is the last available and searchable census at this time.

1940 census has been released but it will take several months before the transcription is completed.

1860 -
Name: William Moran
Age in 1860: 24
Birth Year: abt 1836
Birthplace: New Brunswick
Home in 1860: Princeton, Bureau, Illinois
Gender: Male
Post Office: Princeton

William Moran 61, NB - minister of the faith
Nancy Moran 47, NH
Amanda Moran 20, NH
John Moran 10, NH
James Moran 22, NH - laborer
Charles Moran 15, NH
William Moran 24, NB - shoemaker

It's not uncommon for ppl to flip/flop their place of birth due to state boundaries as well as country boundaries changing as a result of wars.

Ppl also flip/flopped with their names - using their 1st name for one census and then their middle name for the next.

If you are entering birthplaces into a database program, go with your heart. You can also add a note for the different BP for 1850 and 1860.
