I am looking for information on Hugh McGlinn born Feb. 18,1843 in Valcartier, the son of Edward and Anne Jane (Diane Neil) McGlin, brother of David, Edward, Anne, Elizabeth, John, Allan Peter, ... in Valcartier Quebec. He is listed on the 1851 census of Valcartier at age 8, but that is the last I have found. I am the great granddaughter of David McGlinn. I remember my grandmother saying that Hugh moved to New York state. I have small torn parts of a letter dated Dec. 1901 from 480 Chestnut St. Manchester, NH. I do not have the signature or name of the person writing the letter, but the little content seems to indicate it was from a son of Hugh's.
