This should be Gen. Ezekiel Parker WALTON, Maj. Gen. of Vermont Militia. George was his father.

Let me clarify a little further what I am looking for. Here is the ancestry from George Walton who signed the Exeter Combination in 1639:
George-> Shadrach -> George -> Samuel -> John
John was born after 1735 since John was still a minor when Samuel signed his will in 1753.

Here is the ancestry for Gen. Walton:
John -> George -> Ezekiel
John was born about 1737 in Yorkshire, England according to an unsourced statement in Lyford's History of the Town of Canterbury, but I can find no evidence to back up that statment. To the contrary, the biography of Eliakim Persons Walton states he was a descendant of the George from Exeter.

See: The Bibliography of Vermont, Gilman, 1820; p320

I need the link from Gen. Walton to George of Exeter.
