"SMYTH - SMYTHE" Family of New England.

Hello,

I am researching the SMYTH and SMYTHE Family of New England.
My Gr. Grandfather (X5) was ANDREW SMYTH (1720 - 24
FEB. 1812), whose Father, WILLIAM SMYTH, was born in Glasgow, Scotland, and removed to Roscommon, Ireland. William was said to be a man of some little property in Ireland near Limerick, and is refered to as a BARONET. WILLIAM SMYTH'S wife was SARAH FARRELL, and his three sons were WILLIAM SMYTH, Jr., JOSEPH SMYTH, and ANDREW SMYTH. William's oldest son, William, is thought to have inherited his father's title and estate. William's son Joseph went first to Scotland, and afterwards to Virginia in America (date unknown). ANDREW
SMYTH came to Portsmouth, New Hampshire (circa 1737), married MARY BREWSTER, moved to Allenstown, New Hampshire, and was an original settler in the Episcopal colony of New Holderness, New Holderness. Some Family members used the name SMITH and SMYTHE.

Do you have anything on my Family in Ireland?
