Hello everyone,

Abraham Prescott made the famous double bass instrument in Deerfield and Concord, New Hampshire during the 19th century..beginning 1819. He build 207 of them over the course of his career...also with his apprentices hundreds of church basses in addition to violoncellos, viloins and keyboard instruments such as melodians.

The Prescott basses are prized by professional musicians throughout the United States.

I'm trying to figure out where he is buried. I would love a picture of his headstone. He was born July 5, 1789 Deerfield, New Hampshire and died in Concord on May 1, 1858 at age 68 . Hence, I am figuring he is buried in Concord??? But where???????? Maybe Deerfield???? But where?????

I tried googling where he is buried but with no success.

Hoping someone out there will know where he is buried...

thank you....Adine Wakefield from Stockton, CA
