I am currently researching the family of Nathaniel/Nathan BROWN b. 1793 in NH, married in 1821 to Mindwell Everett b.1798 in New London, Merrimack Co, NH.

They are residing in Wilmot, Merrimack Co, NH on the 1850 census. Known children all born in Wilmot:
1.) Sewell BROWN b. 1822
2.) Elizabeth BROWN b. 1822 twin w/Sewell
3.) Joseph BROWN b. 1822 (may be the same individual as Sewell), married Susan W. ALVERSON.
4.) Dexter E. BROWN b. 1826, married Lucy A. ____ and Lois Ann BAILEY
5.) Louisa M. BROWN b. 1828 married Hiram FLANDERS
6.) Levi BROWN b. 1830
7.) Jonathan BROWN b. 1831 married Hannah Rebecca BROUGH
8.) Israel BROWN b. 1834 married Lucinda_____
9.) Hiram BROWN b. ?

Family may have ties to the Abolition movement in NH & MA. Nathaniel's sister Nancy b. 1796 married Philip CHENEY and he may be related to Abolitionist Deacon Moses CHENEY b. 1793 who married Abigail MORRISON and resided in Peterborough, NH and is a known conductor on the underground railroad. Four of Nathaniel's sons; Joseph, Levi, Jonathan & Israel migrated in 1855 to Lawrence, KS with "The New England Emigrant Aid Society" a pro abolition group formed in MA to support migration of pro free state supporters to the Kansas Territory before the Civil War.

Any information or leads are grately appreciated.
