Wendy
I have done a tremendous amount of research in this area. I also had ancestors during that time frame, and found myself going to the NH State Archives which is loccated in Concord, NH. Also, I am friends with the board that governs the Bradford Historical Society. I would be glad to research it further for you, as I might even already have something on your ancestor. I also have knowledge of all gravestites in Bradford. Other places you can search are the NH State Historical Society in Concord, NH and the Registry of Deeds and Probate Office in Nashua, NH, where the seat is for the county of Merrimack. My e-mail address is wcofrin@attbi.com.
Hope this helps.
Wayne
