Looking for family of submariner, Richard Pickering GOSS, a sailor aboard the USS Wahoo (SS-238) that went missing in Oct. 1943 in northern Japan. The Naval Dept. has declared it now found and we wish to share the news with family and friends.

Richard Pickering GOSS, listed Next of Kin, his mother, Mrs. Lillian Gertrude GOSS, Rt. 2, Portsmouth. Entered and hometown listed: Portsmouth, Rockingham Co., NH.

1920 Census: New Hampshire, Coos Co., Berlin. HouseHold: GOSS, Gilman P. and wife Lillian G.; sons Richard P., and Lawrence E.

Lillian Gertrude (McGANTY)GOSS, b. Dec 1887, Canada; Gilman P., son of Richard Pickering and Harriet J. (LOCKE) GOSS,of Rockingham Co., NH.
