The Dalton Historical Society now has a new book for sale, "Early Families of Dalton, New Hampshire" by Kathy Beals. Sketches focus on individuals and families in Dalton by the 1850s or earlier, and include many on folks who later moved to nearby towns. Also included is a 30 page appendix with transcriptions from old newspapers ranging from 1798 - 1900. Book is hardbound, fully indexed and referenced, over 300 pages. Cost is $35 plus $4 shipping.
