Have at hand from state of New Hampshire a record of intent to marry filed 24 May 1842 at Lancaster, Coos County, by Leander Bemis of Lancaster, Coos County, and Fivilla P. Perkins of Northumberland, Coos County.
These were gg-grandparents.
Fivilla (abt 1825-1875) was a daughter of James and Eunice (How[e]) Perkins, Leander (1819- circa 1890) a son of Oliver and Deidamia (Tolman) Bemis.
Interested in hearing from anyone familiar with either of these families and/or the How(e) or Tolman families.
