Howard/Kathryn
I have done a lot of research in the Keene Vitals and your posting caught my eye. After checking the Library web site my suspicion was correct there are NO births recorded for the year 1787.This tells me that for some reason Keene has either lost or misplaced them for that year. For this reason you cannot positively say that she wasn't born there in that time frame. Yes there was a Rebbecca born in 1753,but is she the right one? This has happened to me on several occasions. When there was a lapse of a year or two, my fix for this situation was to go to the NH vital records in Concord. I usually find the missing record there. I think that if Kathryn could find their marriage record that it will list parents names for both bride and groom.
Good hunting
