Personal remembrance- I am saddened to learn of "Fifi's" passing. She was the eldest living member of all of the hundreds of descendants of her grandfather, George Franklin Bemis, and I am one of those descendants. I had the pleasure of exchanging much information with her, and she regaled me with her personal remembrances of growing up in Chesham and her stories and extensive knowledge of this Bemis family. Her mind was sharp and she remembered the most intricate family details. I shall miss chatting and exchanging information with her. She will never be forgotten. My deepest sympathies to her extended family.
Curtis E. Bemis, Jr.
