Jeanette, I have a copy of Walpole, NH History by Geo.Aldrich...no mention of Exner Family....As far as anyone in Walpole helping you, good luck....they haven't, in the past, in my case been forthcoming with any help or information. I drove up there and had an appointment with an official of the historical society and was presented a book that anyone would/could acquire through a library. I was not allowed access to anything on their shelves. I had to find my 1806 Walpole marriage, by Rev. Fessenden, information from Concord, NH. They claimed they couldn't help because of a "fire"..(there is always a "fire".) Even though they have a renowned Ken Burns historical documentary film maker in their populus, they have been, in my mind extremely uncooperative with any and all their Walpole Genealogy History. I did check Family Search...with tongue in cheek...as I only use that as reference/guide and found one Exner in N.E.....in VT. Go to Genforum ..."Exner" Family....check on messages #4, #78, and #137...maybe some help....? We have access to any and all town history and information here in Groton, MA. We, unlike Walpole, NH are proud of our town history and genealogy starting in 1655, and not inclined to shut out people trying to find their roots. Good luck, Patty Davis Notify Administrator about this message?
