Seeking information on my maternal grandmother, Hattie F. Hill. Her birthplace was listed as Conway, New Hampshire (???? County Carroll) on my mother's birth certificate. Her cousins, among them Levi Cook, lived nearby in New Hampshire. I believe she was born around 1893 because my mother was born in 1915 and she thinks she was 12 years old when her mother died. She believes Hattie was 35 years of age when she died. Hattie was a resident of Pepperell, Massachusetts when she died and married to my grandfather, Lyman F. Robbins. In May of this year, my daughter, Megan, and I went to Center Conway and looked through all the records we could find for any appropriate dates. We found lots of Hills and Cooks but nothing on a Hattie Hill. Unfortunately, we did not have time to go to the library.My little great niece is doing a project for school and asked for my help, too, so she has given me further impetus to find out more about our ancestors. I appreciate any information you might find. Thank you very much for your help!
