i hae looked in booklet of Early Cemetery Records of Ossipe and found the following Varneys listed
Easter Varney, D; Nov.26,1868,64yrs,5mos,10ds
Joseph Varney, D; June 2,1881,84 yr 12ds
Besty wife of Joseph, D; Nov.11,1862, 66yrs 3 mos,8 ds
Samuel Varney, D; Mar.20,1858, 29yrs,6moc,11ds
Sophia, wife of Sammuel, D; Nov.17,1849, 18yrs,3mos,9ds
Eliza,2nd dau. of Joseph and Betsy Varney,D. Mar.10,1839, 3yrs 8mos.
Eliza, dau of Joseph and Besty Varney, D April 1, 1834,12 yrs, 6mos
Isaiah Varney,D; Dec. 26,1853, 47yrs
These folks are burried in the West Ossipee Cemeretery. There are Varneys Listed in the History of Ossipee, their names are :Moses,Moses Jr., Nicholas,and Reuben, also a mention of Varneyites.
I will research this out and post an other message
