For anyone else interested in this thread, this information on Emery is interesting because his age at death places his birth ca. 1825 (1860 census has him born ca. 1822). If he were born in 1825 and is John Whiting's son, it's possible he is a twin to George C. Whiting, who was born 14 Feb 1825.
