I have found in book titled Thurston Genealogies, author-I did not record- located at Concord Historical Society Library in Concord, NH: Oliver Thurston born 23 Sept 1800 in Exeter, NH, died 12 Oct 1877, the son of Moses Thurston, hatter of Exeter, NH and Sally Moses, who married June 1823 (maybe the 20th) to Betsey Ann (Elizabeth on census records for 1850-Eaton, NH), who was born 30 May 1805, died 1902, the daughter of Moses Harriman and Abigail Palmer. Oliver and Betsey Ann (Harriman) Thurston had these children:
1. Sarah Ann born 6 Oct 1825
2. Daniel Hobbs born 26 June 1827, married to Mary Littlefield
3. Benjamin Moses born 13 Mar 1829, married Mary Ann Lary
4. Eliza Ann, born 29 Mar 1831, married 19 Apr 1849 Thomas Ellis (this is the line to my husband)
I have also recorded from 1850 Census of Eaton, NH:
Resident #214, Dwelling #219
Daniel Thurston 23 male farmer $800 value born NH
Mary 23 female born NH
Elvira 9/12 female born NH

Resident #48, Dwelling #48
Oliver Thurston 48 male farmer $1000 value born NH
Benjamin 21 male farmer born NH
Elizabeth 45 female born NH
Thomas 17 male born NH
Abigail 13 female born NH
Cyrus 11 male born NH
Mary Jane 9 female born NH
Charles 6 male born NH
Oliver F 5/12 male born NH

Are you located near the Conway Library? The vital for Eaton, and other areas are located there. They have a great History Room and much information on the area. Most of Eaton, NH records have been cataloged there by Mr. Henney, a local historian, who has passed away. This History Room is a great asset. Mr. Henney contributed all his genealogy findings to this library.

If you want to know more let me know, Kathy
