I am searching for any info on this person who seems to have a name made up from nowhere!
Acherson MOODY as his name appears in several U.S. census' in Tamworth, Strafford (then later Carroll Co), NH appears out of nowhere.
A search of his name on Google reveals only my own queries about him.
He was married 1st to a Dorothy _____ and 2nd to Lavina WEEKS (of the Leonard Weeks line). In the 1860 TAmworth census he says his age is 51 and that he was born in NH.
His 2nd wife by this time is with him and she is age 34 b. NH.
Children listed are Nathaniel 22, Alvah 17, Maria 14, Mary A. 12, Charles 11, Levi (whose middle initial was W.) age 7, Emma 5, John 4, Harriet 3 and Abbi 1 all born in NH.
Living 2 doors away is Joseph A. MOODY age 39 farmer b. NH and wife Hannah 37 and their children FRank 11, Emery 9, SEwell/Sewall 8, Edwin 5 and BArtlett 4.
In one census Acherson's name appears as "Edgarson" Moody, so this is really a mystery.
If anyone has any info on this Much aloof ACHERSON MOODY I sure would appreciate the help.
I am thinking he must have changed his name or started using a middle name or something because he appears out of nowhere.
