I am searching for an Abner Moody born c1804 in Ossipee, Carroll Co., NH son of James Moody.
This is according to Herbert A. Moody's booklet on the Moody's of New England.
My 5th grt. grandfather was a James Moody whose parentage I have been unable to determine. He died however before Sept. 1785 so I know this James in Ossipee is not him, but ~might~ be his son of the same name who married in Buxton, York Co., ME in 1795 and whom I have not been able to find ever since.
IF this James Moody in Ossipee 1804 is my James son, I would really appreciate finding out anything on this/these folks.
